This Cookie Policy explains how Linkified (operated by HorizonX LLC) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit linkified.net.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They allow websites to remember your preferences and improve your experience across visits.
2. Cookies we use
We split cookies into two groups. Strictly necessary and functional cookies are always active because the service can't work without them. Analytics and chat-support cookies are optional — they only load after you click Accept on the consent banner, and clicking Decline keeps them off entirely.

3. Analytics
For our own marketing pages we use Google Analytics 4 (loaded only after consent) to understand which pages visitors find useful. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features, or remarketing.
For the public bio pages our users create on Linkified, we use a separate, cookie-less first-party page-view counter — no IPs are stored, sessions are identified by a daily-rotating salted hash, and Google Analytics is not loaded on bio pages.
4. Third-party cookies
On marketing pages we load Google Analytics and the Charla chat widget when you accept. We do not embed advertising or social-media trackers anywhere. Pages created by users on Linkified may embed third-party content (YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, etc.) that sets their own cookies; those are governed by the respective third-party privacy policies.
5. Your choices
Optional cookies (Google Analytics, Charla chat) only load if you click Accept on the consent banner. Click Decline and they stay off — your choice is remembered for one year via the cookie_consent cookie. To change your mind later, clear that cookie in your browser and the banner reappears on your next visit.
Strictly necessary and functional cookies are required for sign-in and can't be disabled without breaking those flows. You can still delete them via your browser settings, but you will be signed out and may lose other preferences.

6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new features. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
